Primary Responsibility: Delivering end-to-end dot net solutions that delight customers
Responsibilities:
Candidates will need to demonstrate experience with;
- Designing, documenting and discussing solution approaches
- Working within an onshore/offshore customer embedded team
- Suggesting strategies for improved design
- Ensuring customers are Happy with their software
- Other tasks as reasonably requested
Essential Skills
Candidates must demonstrate strong expertise in the following areas;
- .NET & C#: Expert in .NET 8 (Core), ASP.NET Core and Azure Functions (serverless patterns)
- Data & ORM: Deep experience with SQL Server AND/OR Postgres and experience with ORMs such as Dapper OR Entity Framework.
- API Design: Building RESTful APIs.
- Azure Platform: API Management, Blob Storage, Azure functions, App services, Application Insights etc.
- Testing: Unit & integration tests with xUnit/NUnit.
- Containers & CI/CD: Docker (local & cloud), Azure Container Apps or basic Kubernetes; Git-based workflows
Desirable Skills
In addition to the essential skills, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Auth & Identity: Experience with working on OIDC/OAuth2 flows. (Auth0, Entra, etc)
- Alternate Frontends: Blazor WASM / MudBlazor for internal tooling
- NoSQL: MongoDB or similar document stores
- Real-time : GraphQL subscriptions, WebSockets or SignalR
- AI Skills: Understanding of LLMs, RAG, MCP and/or used Azure AI foundry (or similar) to integrate with applications.
